THE STORYTELLING MACHINE is a website with a lot of content. Uploading all this content could take many more months, maybe years. If something specific catches your eye, please do get in touch.

The name 'THE STORYTELLING MACHINE' is inspired by 'THE TALE OF THE THREE STORYTELLING MACHINES...' a short story by the visionary godfather of sci-fi, STANISLAW LEM.

The website has FIVE compartments: FILMS, SCRIPTS, BOOKS, GURU NANAK'S UDASIS, and THE STORYTELLING MACHINE.

NONE of the creative work in this website is by AI.

FILMS

We have two films which have been produced, and two films in development. Much of the content is available. Please help yourselves.

SCRIPTS

If you have an interest in reading scripts - producers, actors, fellow writers, anyone really – please do take a look. As the material spans decades, it could take decades more to upload all the related content (we sincerely hope not).

Please do remember, a script is rarely if ever 'perfect'. It can take a very long time to create a 'polished' script. Hence, nearly all the scripts are works-in-progress. Those in the works-in-progess category are in gestation, while even if a complete script is available, it is probably still in the early stages of development. By this, it has probably been 'compiled' - the first rough draft - and received no further work. Chance are it is yet to be read by anyone else at all!

What DOES help improve a script is feedback. So please, if you do read a script, please offer your views. If you have the experience, please place your views in context re the script's development stage. This should be available in the 'about - progress' page.

BOOKS

Several fiction novels, including a novel and a collection of poetry by ZANARDI BAHI, are in the last stages of editing, and will be uploaded asap.

GURU NANAK'S UDASIS

Retracing GURU NANAK'S famous journeys is a long-term ambition. A journey of 40,000 km around India, into China, and the Middle East, the journey has begun with the first adventures from Indian Punjab into Pakistan. The content – photos, videos, and text - will be collated and uploaded as the process continues. Again this could take a while...

THE STORYTELLING MACHINE

The long-term vision: over the years I worked with multiple theatre companies and storytellers. This included visiting children of all ages - pre-school to teenagers – in schools, community centres and libraries. The dream is to bring many of those stories and storytellers together here - The Storytelling Machine - to share with those seeking an engaging, entertaining, perhaps even enlightening tale or two for their children, maybe even themselves. This process may culminate in a real life Storytelling Machine – BardBot – taking on the reins as Storyteller. All will be revealed to you as it is revealed to us.

Thank you.
